Truth in advertising? ...and I'm not sure if the flaws rise to the level of super shitty, but we've all got different scales of what we consider good quality.

Re: Gillru-Kun? Im just bitter when the made in China versions started to happen, quality went down hill...and this looks no different. Im all for rough sculpts, but in this case flaws like a chunk of extra vinyl etc... really stand out on a otherwise smooth design.

I can confirm that the clear skull kuns are (I have two of them in front of me that clearly state that they're made in Japan, under the left foot), I also believe that both the b&w kaibutsu kun series and the kid hunter and various captain bounch are too.
