I used to work in exotic herps (get your mind out of the gutter) and you would be surprised what people mail both legally and illegally. Great looking dog and awesome name!

Re: The "What You Got In The Mail That Isn't A Vinyl Toy" Thread
I first saw this at GR's sdcc booth a couple of years ago and then I went to their stores looking for it but never saw it available. I figured they were out.
When I went to GR2 last month I was surprised to find it in the display case. When I bought it I asked if they had more and the girl said there was one more left after mine. I was tempted to get it so that I can keep one unpainted. If I see it there the next time I drop by I'll probably snag it. But go ahead and give GR2 a call and see if it's still there if you're interested.

wasn't really in the post but my friend built me this, a custom made bass distortion pedal just for me, the quality is incredible check his FB page if you want any pedals made. I have another being made as well with an octave/fuzz mess and the ones I tested sounded epic http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100002509356411

A step up from my little point and click cameras. We bought our daughter a Cannon Rebel, but I was talked into the Nikon. Any pointers for me? -Mark justin wrote: good dslr. are you just starting out with dslr cameras or is that an upgrade? class 10 memory cards are great too. just bought this. yashica gsn with wide and tele adapter.

Re: The "What You Got In The Mail That Isn't A Vinyl Toy" Thread
Thats cool. You gotta start somewhere. I shoot with Canon, but I have tried that D3100.. its great, worth the money. Its a DSLR, so try to learn the manual settings option. Over time you'll get better and better. I would suggest buying an external flash if you tend to use flash. Have you bought any other lenses to go with the camera?
