Dude! that ollie is great! Really nice choice of colors man. Is that orange vinyl?
Also really diggin the eyes on the greasebat.

Sleazebat awesome mash up. I seriously love the oozebat head on so many other sculpts bodies. It would look awesome in my collection too

The color on the Greasebat and Ollie are amazing as well. A lot of your color is unexpected but works really well. I like how these 8 really show your variety of paint apps that bring out each sculpt individually.

i love the job you did on all 8 figures. The Greasebat really caught me by surprise. like animator said, unexpected colours and yet it works so well.
that sleazebat is also the shit, the green rangeas is just plain rad, and that frikkin heater..no description for him, he's just the boss of the whole game.

Awesome Phil, Those fighters are my favorite. Cumberlain the champ!! Sleazebat is super rad too.

Damn fine job Phil! Your choice of colors and mash-up elements are spot on. Such finesse, nothing heavy-handed about any of these.

These are nuts. The mashups are really clean and smart, and your weird, muted palette continues to impress with its inventiveness. I have to agree with Plastichunter that the Heater is just killer. The only thing that stuck out to me was that on the Ollie the orange seems a bit flat compared to the other figures. With that larger area to work with I think the eye expects a little more shading to break it up. Awesome color choices, though.

The Ollie is not Orange vinyl. It's GID. As is the Heater, Rangeas, and Rangeas Middle.



Thanks Animator! Sleazebat was serendipitous for sure. I was working with the Cumberlain/Skullbrain idea moreso, and I had an Oozebat I had repainted a few times unsuccessfully... Then the name sealed the deal for me.

Thanks for the kind words about my color choices too. I was trying some different things, to see what fit.


An old Spawn toy I think? It was in an old box at my parents house. And I added some jewelery... fits pretty well though, right?



Fight Figures are my favorite, so thanks for that RC! Yeah he's a Cumberbrain... It Conquered the World Championship!

@Axolotl and all- Thanks! Heater was a Mashup I had been wanting to do for a long time... I had to sacrifice both from my unpainted collection, but I really wanted to do it.

I'm not a fight figure collector, nor do I go for any of the SSSS toys - but this is awesome.
Not only do I like the unusual combo, but the satin suit & high gloss shoes is the perfect touch for me.
Two tone claws also shine a lot more than the usual single-color spray on the hands.

And you're right Phil - that cape is indeed from a Spawn action figure.
