 Re: 2011 Stanley Cup Playoffs
I'm sorry even with this loss the Bruins still have been much more dominating in the series on a whole. Look at the Canucks wins 1-0, 3-2OT, 1-0??? Bruins are 8-1, 4-0 in theirs. Still Bruins looked way outplayed tonight, with barely any scoring chances. Looks like they could NOT settle that damn puck down for a good pass at all. They had periods of time where they dominated possession but if you dump and chase all night and the other team keeps clearing the zone you'll have zilch in the tank when you need it at the end. They looked plain tired. Even if they get it done at home, can they win in Vancouver? Oh and I broke my new camera (well semi new 9 months old) as I came back from a bar (slid right out of my sweatshirt pocket) onto asphalt. So I'm extra pissed.....

The B's had better step up their game tonight.

 Re: 2011 Stanley Cup Playoffs
I cant understand how they are so vulnerable in boston.
If they arent psychologically tough enough to compete on the road, my money's on them losing the 7th game
As for kessler. That guy just does not learn. Yet another unecessary penalty

Too busy watching the Nuck's downward spiral to comment so I waited till intermission ! Right now Luongo is yelling to someone in TD Garden: "Does anyone have a sword I can just fall on?!"

 Re: 2011 Stanley Cup Playoffs
If the Bruins can get to Luongo early you can pretty much bet they'll take the cup. Bruins have been coming back from being down the entire playoffs. Bruins also have to establish hitting early. Canucks beat the shit out them last time in Vancouver, they can't let that happen again.

 Re: 2011 Stanley Cup Playoffs
I'll go Canucks, 2-0. Have a great game all! Would have loved to spend it with other hockey fans. My wife and kids have yet to be converted...

Still at work. Why's the score still 0-0?

 Re: 2011 Stanley Cup Playoffs
Early prognosis: Like that Bruins are hitting hard but Lucic has to be better at passing! What the hell man, too many giveaways and errant passing! B's are transitioning well, but need to get a pass to the center when they enter the zone, they are keeping the Canucks to the outside at least in their own end.

 Re: 2011 Stanley Cup Playoffs
Entertaining game, but I doubt not calling penalties is a wise move. That move on Chara... It may deteriorate from now on. Still think Vancouver was on top for most of the period (till the goal anyway).
Hey, if the Bruins win, since the Habs lost 7th OT, do we get some sort of bragging rights?

 Re: 2011 Stanley Cup Playoffs
No one gave Boston a chance. Everyone kept saying how the Twins, Kesler, and Luongo would dominate. No one told them they would run into a wall named Thomas, a kid named Marchand, and the penalty killing of the B's! So glad Boston won! My hockey year is complete with winning a gold in fantasy and a team I like winning the final! 110 days till 2011-2012 season!!!

It was so irritating hearing about how the Canucks were going take the Cup home...almost as if it was a foregone conclusion. In any case this season's playoffs were one of the best I've watched in a while. It's great to hear how many people around here (Northeast) are excited about hockey again.

 Re: 2011 Stanley Cup Playoffs
not sure if you guys are getting the news, but this Stanley Cup bruising has ended in pretty dirty fashion. People setting cars on fire, looting some stores and generally just being assholes and sore losers in downtown vancouver.
i really don't understand the majority of people on this planet.
