 Can someone tell me about Majin Bander? Saw these on yja and they kind of look like robot devils. I like the fact that they are in clear colored plastic/vinyl. Anyone have any knowledge? Thanks

my reply is going to get TROUNCED tomorrow since i know so little.
the new green, purple and clear translucents figs are repros from Charactics. I LOVE them.
the Majin Bander was originally part of an animated jp tv show (i don't know the name) and many other figures of "him" seem to exist, with very different molds.
someone with knowledge wanna pick up?

Majin Bander Hello,
Do you have pix of the Majin Bander you are talking about? The Majin Bander I know is from the live action 1960's Japanese Captain Ultra.
Marmit made a couple of the larger ones , plus a parababy. Banpresto made one awhile back.
If I see the pix, I will know if it the same kaiju.

I'm not sure if it was the same head on it but yesterday on Madarake there was a Brownish one - already sold BTW.
It reminds me of the Robot from I think it was Robot Carnival? Nausica? The arms do anyway.

Laputa - Castle in the Sky has robots that have a similar feel to some of the Majin Bander. Especially that brownish one Dr.T mentioned and HOTTROD bought!!
