 Re: Salamander Joe
WHOA, just came home to both those pictures. I think it says a lot for the strength of this sculpt to see how good it looks with both minimal paint and the full treatment. Despite all the great textural madness I keep getting drawn back to the hands and feet for some reason. They just seem perfect for the toy and the mite accessory displayed up like that so you can see the face just seals the whole thing. Do I recall a teaser with a shriner fez? This dome is begging for a fez!

(thats a fez reference, not a mindless ape one)

Mmm. The Sally-Mander on the left reminds me of those Unicorn Pops.

 Re: Salamander Joe
Super coooooollllll!!!!
I really like the dark one with soft pinks. Sorta has a salamander look to it. I also like it's iris/pupil placement looking down.
Excellent work again PK !!!

These are really nice in hand and your paint apps are making them pop. The stinger face is awesome!

 Re: Salamander Joe
Keep coming back to stare at the one on the left - the colors on that guy really speak to me. Can I have it? The grey one looks really great too - heck, they all do! Me thinks I'll be entering a lottery for the first time some time soon.

 Re: Salamander Joe
The black one really does it for me. It reminds of the black orange belly salamander I had as a kid. The guy who sold me this salamander told me they age to about 4 years max.. I had him at least 10 years . Nothing but love for salamders from me Amazing stuff Paul!!
