 Austin, TX versus San Fran
Frank,
which is better and why?
Name some good things about each...

Austin was better on many levels, especially the social level, nice weather, mellow factor etc.
San Fran way better for 'business and travel stuff'.

I was just in SF for the first time last week. It was a pretty cool town, I had a lot of fun. I still need to go back and check out more of it. Kinda dirty! Got to hang with Isaac and his cat saving neighbor, great people in my book!

I felt bad for the cat, he probably would not be so goofy if he had some attention from his owners. I thought it was going to fall from the window that night. Okay sorry, enough about the cat! Those bats by the bridge look sweet!

The question is where in Texas? Texas is diverse and wide!
I drove straight through to Dallas from LA takes about 25 hours. I crossed the Texas border at El Paso in the morning thinkin Thank God I am home! Still had 10 hours of driving with 7 in the desert. I was hallucinating gas stations.

Austin used to have (maybe still does - it has been a long time since I used to frequent the place) the Armadillo World Headquarters (good music and booze).

I miss Hillberts Hamburgers on North Lamar. Best burgers in the universe.
I thin the Armadillo shut down around 1980 or so.
