There are dozens of toys I had seen many pictures of and just didn't like once I had them in hand. The BST is full of toys that people bought with full knowledge of what the toy looks like and still didn't desire to hold onto it. I guess these same things could be used to argue against my point but it seems to me nothing is a sure thing until it is in hand and you still love it. Skinner is a 2d Artist but there are a bunch of huge resin pieces that although unreleased I know most has seen pics of and I'm sure would not mind a crack at. Shikaruna may not be everyones favorite but license work should have proven he can translate images into almost mirror image toys when that is his aim. I don't think it's really as big of a risk as people are making it out to be. With the speed at which they sold out sight unseen I'm sure even if you do regret it it wont be hard to recoup your initial investment. It's not the way I would like to buy toys on a regular basis but a bit of fun and chance can be refreshing.

Not to worried about the investment side, just dont like buying anything before even a prototype exists yet. I think there will be plenty to pick up from buyers, at around or less than retail after the drop.
