Yeah, we need a honey bee list! I'm starting to pick up the translucent colored ones...they look cool next to their big brothers...

i think you should put them on the list but you get -0.5 SB points for everyone you own.

What exactly is wrong with the honeybees?
Hey, Parka!
I like the honeybees as well! I started with what I call the "honey" honeybee -- translucent yellow. It is very cool, IMHO. Don't have but one other yet, the solid red, but I hope to get some more, especially if there happens to be a glow one. ^_^

my only complaint is that they don't stand too well because the feet won't level out. But I think they are really cool looking, probably never would've seen one in person if it weren't for a very nice fellow skullbrainer who sent me a couple (blue and orange) as a gift! That was the coolest gesture I've seen yet on here so thanks you know who are!!!!!

Re: SECRET BASE FIGHT TOY CHECKLIST
Digging this up. You guys seemed to have tons of funs with the rarity ratios in the checklist, so i did some hunting and finally managed to dig up the original checklist and upload it. http://www.scribd.com/doc/128953802/Super7-Magazine-SECRETBASE-ChecklistI'm assuming they were just rough rarity ratios posted by S7, but I was just wondering if they hold up present day? Are those rarity ratios still an accurate reflection of how hard it is to track some of these down, or has that gone out the window with the secondary market price drop on these figs? And if anyone can enlighten me, I'm specifically curious about the Obake Ghost ratios.

Nothing really official. So I don't think any Obake ratios are going to be exact. What type of question do you have?

Re: SECRET BASE FIGHT TOY CHECKLIST
Thanks for dredging up this thread - the mythical SMP (SB Mad Points) index. Just look back and see how much fun we were having. Looking at it now just makes me laugh

I know the numbers are very fast and loose but I was just interested in knowing whether the 4 and 5's, which must have had some of you guys in full SB fever at the time, are as hard to get nowadays. Looking at the BST, it's hard to say if it's just the easier to get releases that are going cheap these days, or if all the figures have become more attainable. Not looking to get caught up in ratios, more just a now vs then comparison. Mutonismyfriend wrote: Thanks for dredging up this thread - the mythical SMP (SB Mad Points) index. Was certainly cool to see how enthusiastic you guys were. Much more uplifting than the 'How much sofubi do you own' thread : ) Hopefully the list can now be shared with anyone that missed out at the time. Mad Points Round 2 anyone?

Re: SECRET BASE FIGHT TOY CHECKLIST
Secret Base has gone through several phases. Back then they seemed to be pretty hot and a lot of people were collecting them, so getting a hold of some of them proved more difficult than others.
I think today some are still difficult to obtain, but that doesn't always determine the selling price of them. I have seen several of the 4's on this list selling for pretty cheap recently. I think it all comes down to when someone unloads their collection.
It seems to be the same today as with the old releases, some seem really limited and harder to obtain, while others are easy to get your hands on.
I think the hardest Obake to get your hands on today might be the Black sheet with Orange inner body and he was only listed 3/5.

Re: SECRET BASE FIGHT TOY CHECKLIST
I need one Obake 1st Gear to be complete. It's the Balzac version black/glow. I never see that one for sale. I see the red one from time to time but I always miss out on the other version.

Only released at a Tokyo Dome wrestling event in very limited quantities. I'm not sure the exact amount, but maybe somewhere around 20??

Which version is this; the glow one without blood splatter, OG sheet, and Balzac head under the sheet?
