Damn, it seems I came up totally empty handed on everything this sdcc weekend.

I feel the same way...but I guess on the bright side I now have extra money for other toys.

No luck either but w/word that the new Blobpus "Enma" Ollie is going to be MTO there is really not much to complain about - life is good

I apologize for the above poor pic of the Medicom Ollie (no release date yet, BTW). It was under glass, and they had yellow lighting. Ugh. Just about the worst combo for displaying or shooting figures.

How does Medicom choose what they put in project 1/6 and do you still have a hand in everything when it goes that route, Rich?

I'm not sure how they chose who they work with but for this release I was contacted by them. As far as control, they give the artist full control I chose everything from vinyl color to paint app and header design

Did you actually paint it, like your normal runs, or did they have someone there do it?

That's awesome, from what I've read they seem like a really cool company, I felt a little disalusioned by the owner of Toy2r because he seems like he's really into the business aspect of things, whereas Tatsuhiko Akashi from Medicom seems to have a genuine love of the toys...
