dunno how it's a 1/1. Maybe Lee can shed some light.

Yup these were one offs. There were two. They were similar, but this wasn't a "run". The smallest HP run, I've been told, they'd consider would be something like 13. One for Flynn, Pogue, the archive, and then 10 for sale. Hence 1/1's.

I hope dude sells it! Doesn't bother me. Why not? It's cheaper than I'd charge, he's not gouging.
Maintaining a bunch of hidden rules always seemed silly to me.
Although I'm doing at least two more (again similar) for people that will (unless the auction goes nuts) pay more than that, but wouldn't touch the e-bay one on principle and to them I can only say "thanks" as I really appreciate the commission work. Skullbrain's a funny place.

I always thought one offs meant one and only one painted in that specific way.

My bad. Didn't know there were two (very similar) versions... And you often see people double posting here and on the bay, so I assumed (wrongly)...

Picked up the GID today - quite nice!
Looks as much like an alien being as a ghost which I think is nice.
A little more of a white glow than the typical green cast.
You can see the outlines of the bones and organs pretty well in the dark - hopefully that'll come through in pictures.
I'll aim to get a lights off photo up this evening.

Next up - solid rich blue Visighost!

Post Re: Visighost versions
^^ Thanks! Glad you enjoyed them. Should have paid more attention to line up the upper & lower torsos but I guess I'm lazy/oblivious like that.

The first one is obviously all by itself, second has the rainbow SDCC release in front of it and the 3rd has another clear release in front of it.

PS - This new release is ~1cm taller than the other Visighosts I've got around. The White Day version might be about the same size but the other ones (which all happen to be one form of clear or another) definitely seem a bit shorter. Is that just a function of different vinyl composition stretching out when it cools or gets pulled from the mold or did the mold change somewhere along the way?

Just curious. Anyone else notice that?

Great picture John.

Really dig how you set this up.
The details look like they show up pretty well on the lower half through to blue spray.

Weird. I have never noticed any size difference and there's nothing noticeable on the group shots... New mold maybe? Love the glow and great pic! Hope I'll get mine soon... And this means there is now one more proto to chase...

clear vinyls tend to shrink more than opaque vinyls in manufacturing, thus the height difference. To that point, the paint masks on the body only work on clear versions, and do not fit on opaque versions!

Post Re: Visighost versions
Thanks Brian. That's interesting (to me at least - I love that manufacturing thread). And that explains - at least in part - why this GID release didn't have the bones/organs painted.

So, I guess milky colors count as clear since the White Day version is masked off & painted? If you line up the GID, the Milky, and one on the clears - stick a ruler across their heads you can see the slope due to the differences in sizes w/ the milky maybe a little closer to the GID than the clear.

Really enjoying this new version - it's like a night light.

I'm OK w/ more clears too ;)

Plus: update on the Visi collection (minus the GID ver.)

Decided to switch this into a database. Pics of all production Visighosts minus one... If someone has one, please share a pic?

merci for doing this petite. i'm really late in the game on these and I've been trying to find a good, reliable resource on the production pieces.

hope this is not rude, but any chance we could get release dates on the versions listed ?
