Post Re: PUSHEAD @ SDCC 2011: PATCHWERK
Hi guys! Finally got some time to unpack and unwind from a long couple weeks of travel. Seeing all the pictures takes me back a week to one of the most exciting 30 minutes I've ever had at the con.

I apologize to all in attendance at the Patchwerk event for holding up the line. Since 2006 I've had pretty bad luck with line numbers at the Pushead signings. I didn't think this year would be any different. I spent the biggest chunk of my day at the Game of Thrones panel upstairs and when it let out at 4pm I thought I'd hurry down to catch the case unveiling and look at all the cool stuff I wouldn't be able to buy. When I saw the teeming mass around the Toy Tokyo booth I got pretty excited. I started catching eyeballs and pointed fingers. "That's him." "There he is." What?

I was promptly ushered to the front and handed my number. 2!

Needless to say I had a pretty big shock and the unbelievable pressure of getting second pick from the case. Thanks to some good line karma I got to take this beauty home.

Had a great time chatting with all of you and hope the SD tradition continues.

PH came back swinging for this years SDCC! Aside from the HP, the 'factory releases' of the red glitter pirate & the marble skullwing are high on my want list. Were they crazy limited?

As for the marbled wing and other two production pieces there were very few available at the event. Somewhere around 10 each were offered to the public.

Great choice. I would have picked the exact same one if I were #2... That one is my favorite so far. Perfect colors.

Being first in line was tough. So much to choose from...it was hard to not get the one Andy selected but I did well buying this guy.
