Re: Check out the new Josh Figure - EARTH WOLF! I've been a Laker fan for 30+ years and I would have never attributed the la team colors to this Earth Wolf. If anything it's more like the Phoenix Suns. The day glo orange and purple is an interesting albeit strange combo.
I wonder why they chose those two to compliment each other.
Anyway...the first medicom release is an excellent fit. It looks like exactly like one of Josh's earth wolf paintings. Especially with the 'wood' arm and ocean "blue" melty body.

It may not have the wood arm and blue spirit body like the first release, but it feels more indicative of his paintings. I think it's all those little details: the separate blue whorls on the top of the head, the multi-colored arrow, the designs on the arm, ETC. That being said, I wish I could go back in time and order the original. Medicom's image on their site wasn't very detailed so I passed. It wasn't until Comic Con that I saw first hand how fantastic the toy is. If someone's going to get an Earth Wolf, the first version is the one to buy.
