I can't see the pics but are you referring to the 1/6 set?
I picked it up, but I actually like the last kaiju sculpt. The red chrome is also pretty cool if uninspired.

Yep...the pics show up nice.
I love dokugan...nice blend of matango, blobpus, and bat wings. They are pretty huge though.

Data, do you know how much the red Last Kaiju/Blobpi set sold for at the store? I've only seen one listed on YJA, and I'm not about to pay 18000 Yen for the set... (I like the little chromey guy)

I know, red food coloring. But it just does'nt show any of the fantastic detail on this figure. I think the mettalic green has been the best so far. And damn I want that 1st Dokugan, it's so sweet.Where can I find one ?

Oh shoot... I thought you might be one of the few people that might've actually gotten one.

The Red Chrome set sold for 15000yen at the shop.
I didn't count, but there looked to be quite a lot of them.
Don't know if they sold out ...
I didn't get one. Too rich for me.

The reason I don't like the Last Kaiju sculpt is that it reminds me too much of Hedorah. It looks like Hedorah with a Blobpus head. The regular-size Blobpus seemed more original somehow.

I totally agree with you...I don't collect any Hedorah though, so the Last Kaiju kind of fulfills that "look" for me.

I actually love Hedorah. I really like Blobpus, too. But I always thought of Blobpus as a totally unique monster (like a mutant squid or something), and then the Last Kaiju sculpt came along and seemingly blended Blobpus and Hedorah together. You would think that I might really like the Last Kaiju sculpt since it seemingly combines two of my favorites, but aesthetically it just doesn't work for me.

I like all of them with the crazy paint jobs. When they start doing lame paint jobs as the recent blobpus then I will stop buying them.
The Marijuana Last kaiju paint job rocks and I still think Super7 still has one.
