He was banned and he's gone. If he was banned, moderators must have a good reason, so stop crying and asking for him to be back, it's becoming really redudant and ridiculous.

He was a long time member with a high profile. Having him vanished is obviously going to cause people to comment. This is a community and when one of it's members leaves, whether through choice or otherwise, it invariably creates shock waves and reactions. Varied as they may be, they are all valid.

After sitting on the sidelines, I will say I am surprised how quickly he got banned. If anyone remembers, the Geo vs Kozik flames went on for months before Geo got the boot (and, if I remember, he initially just got 'time outs'). (And Geo was rentlessly venemous.) I vote the mod responsible invite Alice back. He may decline, but given the life his threads has added to the board, I think it should happen.

I would like to think that Alice was given warnings via PMs and decided to ignore them, there's also a fair chance that there was discussion behind the scenes where someone let off a volley that may have been out of line. Hence the full ban.
But we don't know and I don't know. So just speculation. But based on what I have bothered to read, It's out of the blue to me.
And that's kind of the point - I have read back on this a bit but only after the fact, and I'm still not entirely clear. I'm sure the reasons were there to ban him,in the past we've had some hardcore scammers get banned and a few loud mouths, I'd like to think that Alice just over stepped some where, with some one.... but I don't know.
