First of all the reaction by the Government to these riots has been absolutely mental and beyond comprehension.
The Police and the Government are currently arguing over who actually decided to put 16k police on the streets of London. I suspect that the police made that choice since it took several days for either the mayor of London or the PM to come back from fucking holiday.
Kicking down the doors and evicting looters is madness, giving some one a 6 month sentence for stealing £3.50 case of water is absurd.
But this is the British Government and they are so disassociated from the people that they govern that its fairly typical.

I don't know.... if lack of money, education, parenting, jobs, etc. are the cause of all the rioting, we should be having more riots all over the world right now.
Well we kind of do... Spain, Greece, the Middle East.

reminds me a bit when the Lakers won the championship and the idiots in LA started a riot in celebration...
Obviously these are completely different from the, frankly baffling phenomenon of post win rioting that goes on in North America.

Rioting may not be the answer, but nobody has managed to actually inquire as to what the question was in the first place. They are just filling in their gaps in understanding and throwing a blanket over the situation in hopes that it will go away.
