That's the Big Eye by Yamanaya. There are several different paint versions, some harder to come by then others.

Every time I am going through my toys and come across the Big Eye, I have to sit and stare at it for a minute and marvel at the person who dreamed this monster up. It is just so perfect. Nice photos!

In this economy, you probably do. Also, I would probably ask for payment in yen.

Got this 11" Bullmark Ultraman Ace in the mail today. He is a bit scuffed up, but I got him for a good price.

Scuffed means he was enjoyed! Great find.

Re: The "What you just got in the Mail" Thread
Right place, right time, right price. I want to find a term other than 'grail', but when you've been looking for something for a *l o n g* time, years, and it consistently eludes you, or teases you by appearing at maddening museum prices, and then suddenly, unexpectedly, the week you've given up on it, hops right into your lap what is that called? Pardon the crappy photos of my newly expanded Yokai family, fresh in from China. So happy.

Wow, truly great haul on all those Yokai. That was indeed a bad week, I remember it well Alas, at least that is less competition for the rest of us

Means it's got stories...might've belonged to a collector who's wife got the shits and gave it to a thrift store and some kid walloped the hell out of it...may have a million stories in it. My Jumbo Godzilla has been bought and sold in my city at least 7 times we know of in twenty years. I've personally owned this same one 3 times in 12 years. I've actually seen it in two other guys collections and now I own it again.

Wow the unpainted orange is super neat! Jeff that book is going to get you in trouble, trust me I have one and I've pretty much dogeared each page with wants. Particularly 34-35, 92-93, and I got the image for that shirt I sent you from page 73. SUCH A GREAT CATALOG!
