AWESOME Paul! Do most Kaiju have such rich backstories? Anyhow, I truly think a Sally Joe comic book (maybe an origin story) needs to accompany the next release!

Also, which SJoe is this in the above shot? This is the first painted one right? The only discernible difference I see between this one and the glowmelon is that the biter mite is fully pink/purple at the top and the mini boss is different. Such good colors man...

All the mites have variation on the blue up spray depending on which way the wind was blowing and the amount of coffee I drank .

I hope you don't take it offensively, because I love Bidgoods work, and how he pulled the wool over the public's eyes for years, and I love Joe, so...

The colors are also reminiscent of the scene in Mothra where the Twins are singing to Mosura, after being captured for the stage show, or any scene with the Natives...

I just got that one in hand and I've come to the conclusion Salamander Joe is one of the best toys around. Ah-mazing. I mean really, the pics made me want one but having one makes me NEED ALL!

I'll try and get more pics. It's on nice blue vinyl (head is clear pink, hand probe clear) and it's got so much detail. Honestly I wanted the black "ape" one which sold first at TKIII but I'm equally happy with this now that I have it and I'm messing with it. A lot of subtleties I didn't catch at the show (since I didn't touch it there) and from pics. I'm done swooning for now.

I understand that dedication, but there have been plenty of times I've seen thing "First" on BST, that I wanted, and let them pass on to people that didn't have them... Especially when I'm buying something to paint, I'll pass it to someone that had it in their wants... This is why I see people with a full collection of every color, and I have none... That said, Paul's paintjobs make it impossible to not want more...
