Has anyone removed the loop from the australopithecine lady's head? I couldn't figure out how, doesn't seem like a screw.

As long as we're asking questions today - what show did Griffon appear in?
Pardon my ignoramushood.

That is one very serious looking crew.
Very nice picture - you can practically hear their attack mole's low and guttural warning growl.

^^ Jeez, so many duplicates; I say you choose a favourite immediately and send me the evil twin  Seriously, great shots, this is the kind of job I can get behind. Why do real work when this is so much more fun?!

Hey Ian, can I encourage you to be even more indulgent with your Buta photos? I'd love to see the reverse angle on all those duo shots - There aren't nearly enough pictures out there of Buta backs!

Broke out the camera (sorry it's a cheap point and shoot so the pics aren't as amazing as Ian's) and took some updated shots of my small Butanohana collection:

Hey get out of my thread Chris! Ha ha, it's nice to have some company in here ;)
Wow you've got some great Butas (I want!) tucked in those photos.
Really nice vivid pictures...

You know I was looking at my shelves after I took all of these out, and thought wow, these little fellas really do add a great spark to any collection. My shelves looked pretty boring without them?!

Oh and any shots I take I owe great homage to Tim (plover) and the Butanohana site. He had the best Buta collection my eyes have ever seen, and that shot on the Buta home page always gets me.

Cheap camera or no, those shots of the family look great!

I'm so sad I missed Tim's era here, but have spent many hours looking over his inspirational photostream.

Image

This photo of his made me lose my breath when I first saw it.
It's probably posted somewhere deep in this thread already but thought I'd share it for anyone that might have missed it.
