Re: RAD! the first four numbers are the year and month it was produced, september 85 in your case.
the next 4 are the individual serial. if you post a pic I could probably ID it.

I must've watched that vid a dozen times when it first hit, but hadn't recalled any of it in years. Damn, how we used to quote every little aside or intro verbiage from that vid (and tons of others, of course)... and the music! A freaking FLOOD of memories!! Yes, this was THE game-changer, with Public Domain a close second.
