The Kanegon was at SF57. Do not know who the maker is. Bandai maybe? From what I can read off that white card it is asking for donations and telling you to place the money inside the mouth of that Kanegon. So it's a Kanegon coin bank. Most likey the donations are for the victims of the March 11th Tsunami/Earthquake.

Damn... I don't even know where to begin commenting on this show... UN-FUCKING-REAL goodness from every angle!! That Fewture Zazahn is knocking me for a loop (I really wanna see them produce a Garamon, at some point)... new Marusan Garamon sculpt looks outstanding, especially with that paint-up (love the silvery blue-grey shading on the limbs)... and HOLY CRAP on that Ilanena suit!!! WANT!!!!

seriously excited by these pics...thanks Mark, Onwi for posting...and I havent even checked Kaiju Korner yet! I actually saw a ton of stuff I would have wanted. Being a fight fig type of guy - The Skullwings for sure, but hovering close to that are those new RxH figs with the new head sculpts. If anyone has a line on these and wants to share, please PM me. I lOVE these, especially the oni head and the skull head - they are all scurrilously awesome...IMHO !

Loving the two Skullwings like everyone else, but also the Biliken releases- the Monster and Robot from the last pic on KK; wow! and the mixed parts Marusan Toho stuff! The RxH adult stuff is really looking good too- esp the Mutant Evils! man. I can't wait to get to one of these shows!

Just coming back into town this minute, Superfest was great! I'll post some more photos as soon as I can download them off the camera. Had a great time chatting with Luke, Don, Andy, Jon, Ricky, Bwana, Aaron, and all the rest of you guys! Sorry we couldn't arrnage a more social get-together. Anytime you can come down to the Kansai area, hit me up. Sigh, now off to work and reality again...

Okay, one quick post since we are discussing these guys. Here is another sweet guy from Atom A (you can see him in the lower left of the above image). I am not sure if he is a companion piece to go with the RxH body or not, since he is made like a 'plug' base. Anyways, cool Spaceman with awesome paint over GID vinyl. I like the little critter hitching a ride on the back as well.

Must agree with the excitement expressed for the Atom A/RxH collabo. Really creative stuff.

Come on guys. We all know the real star of Super Fest 57 was the Fuei Shokai tooth kaiju.

I want to see him step up his game this January though. At the very least, I expect to see a finger bone in each and every one of his releases at Super Fest 58. Bigger and better things my friends, bigger and better things.
