Re: netflix instant thread. I just found out I have the Amazon streaming service too (my wife is a "Prime" member.) After sifting through it, not much better/worse then Netflix. Then to watch "new" movies you need to pay an additional "rental" fee, LOL. Torrents right, I mean, right? Rental fee my ass. Or Redbox for $1. Or not at all since I'm a miser and hate most new movies since I'm a crank ass hater.

Re: netflix instant thread. Has anyone started to use blockbuster for dvds?
I've been debating keeping netflix streaming for now and switching to a different service for dvds.
From the ads blockbuster includes blu rays for the same cost, where netflix ups the charge on you.
I also know there is a blockbuster physical location close by, or at least there used to be.

Re: netflix instant thread. One of the things about the stuff I do like on instant, is they are a lot of things I've already purchased.
Like the gold box. Though I really didn't recall/watch all of season two before I had it, and I can't say I would again.

Thought they did a great job of bringing everything into modern times.
