Man...where to begin. It was awesome to finally meet and kick it with Bob, Shawn, Phil + his gf Bridget, Guf, Lurker, Carl, Arin, Abe Lincoln Jr., Toby, Joe, John (who i thought was Arin twice by mistake! once i got it straight we we're set!)

This showcase was some back-alley business and a real neat idea setting it up that way, behind the TT booth. Lorne was great too!! It couldn't have run any smoother.

Here are my pics...I hope Shawn and the rest of you guys, will share some too.

I got there at 1130 ish and first bumped into Shawn..






After a few hours, Shawn located and pointed out the 600.00 ebay Siamese flipper, who last year was all "Who's Pushead??" while in line. I tried to get a frontal pic of him, but he was in motion...








At 4pm EST..when the line began to form..

The culmination of waiting for years to finally meet the man. Pushead couldn't have been more amazing, personable, and all around AWESOME. It was surreal meeting him and getting a few minutes of his time to talk. I was so excited, I forgot to get him to sign the book I picked up, after getting this pic. Luckily for me, they let me go back through one more time to get him to sign it. Thank you again!! (disc: the pic is a tad blurry, the lighting wasnt the best back there. i could care less though.)






I got these 2 prints, the book with the 2 prints frm SDCC, and the green Croc.

I dont think I'll ever forget this experience, and I hope I don't.

I was in the line for pushead, but I ended up being the 1st person after the cutoff for a figure At least I was able to pickup a print. Congrats to everyone who scored though.

It was soooo RAD to be able to get one on one time with Senor Pushead! Just talking with him about art and stuff really made it special. Grew up with his art and he is for sure a huge influence on me. And a really nice person!!!!

The "bouncer" is Bob, a long-time collector of Pushead who designed the "Robert" for SDCC '11 (We talked for a bit before I met Pushead)

Always a blast chatting and meeting everyone in line. The back alley vibe with a one on one with PUS was a great idea. I wish more artists appreciated their fans as much as PUS does. His events have become the highlight of my last convention experiences.

The reveal of each possibility was fun also, suspense and anticipation growing as each box was pulled up to reveal the gold. Then a headache trying to decide. So glad I came to NYCC this year.

I don't own any Wing/Pirates. I would say this is a fairly new sculpt to be released. So is the Captain/Ink. I would LOVE either of these
