Re: Sucklord to Compete on Bravo’s ‘Work of Art’ Season 2
NT, I know what you're saying and I think that artists evolving their work and style is awesome and I like to see when people don't just do the same old stuff their known for. But I'm talkin doing something so far from what they normally do. Like what TEWS did last night, you probably would never guess he was an awesome graff artist and you probably wouldnt wanna know what else he could do. He wrapped a bucket with a hose and did a fade circle with spray paint on a circular board in front of that. But they show him sitting in front of a pile of montana cans in the one shot. I think they can evolve their work while still doing what theyre good at.

Ep3 sounds interesting. Sucklord better win this coming challenge or at least come out on top. I can't believe Kathryn started crying. She has a freaking MFA. Did she never get a bad crit in school? I also don't think Bayete should have won. Kathryn got hammered for not pushing herself but what did Bayete do? He spun around a lot till he got dizzy...is that pushing yourself?

C'mon Morgan. This one should've been automatic.

Gulf Oil Spill = Sludge/Pollution Monster. Exactly. I think the last crit (no more Star Wars) really spooked him and he reached too far out there. Sucklord makes this season interesting and entertaining. I think the show is aware of this and might be one of the reasons he's made it this far. I'm rooting for him even though I don't really believe he's got a snowballs chance in hell of winning.

I can't believe young beat his competition, i think its bogus, the other 2 pieces were a lot better.

Episode just finished and yeah...that was the winner?

Makes you wonder if they gave him the win because of his mom's situation. Did you guys like Dusty's reaction when they said who the winner was? He looked like he was fixin' to punch someone...and then the hug.

I didn't think Young should have won with that Prop 8 piece a few weeks ago either.

Re: Sucklord to Compete on Bravo’s ‘Work of Art’ Season 2
For weeks the judges do their letter-best to discourage Morgan from pulling out his bag of tricks and expressing true loves, and, after they thoroughly break his spirit, they lambaste him for not pulling out his bag of tricks and expressing true loves. Whee.
The wall was pretty weak, though!

Well, I will now have more space on the old DVR because after tonight, this show ends as far as I am concerned. It was fun while it lasted. I wonder if Sucklord can talk openly about the show now that he is off it? http://youtu.be/3RD17eyNWA0

Re: Sucklord to Compete on Bravo’s ‘Work of Art’ Season 2
I don't think it's fair to say that there was more to dusty's piece. I think that Young's was more subtle. It used color to talk about censorship. Dusty's piece was good, but the presentation of his idea was more obvious, less subtle. Robert DeCastro wrote: I was sure dusty was gonna take the win. Re: Sucklord to Compete on Bravo’s ‘Work of Art’ Season 2
Young's work is a perfect example of what is wrong with the art world. Pretentious and lazy does not art make. I was floored when he won the pop art episode and in utter disbelief after the newspaper episode.
Art is not subjective, it's obvious

The wall was pretty weak, though! Right? I think Sucklord should've just stayed true to his style and way of approaching his work. Jerry really screwed with Morgans head and was never the same since.
