I know Star Case is a Japanese shop/collection/forum of Star Wars toys. I did NOT know that they would be making sofubi! This is awesome, love it! According to their site they're planning 11 other figures! GAH! I didn't need a new obsession.






I love when 2 of my favorite things are combined. Vader Dako, S7 Stormtrooper Shogun, now this. I need to get one.

I may have to check out Star Case. Hope they will deal with folks outside of Japan. Love the claw. Who needs the force when you have the claw?

I am so bummed I didn't know about these beforehand. For me this toy pretty much ticks any box I could come up with: Star Wars - hells yeah, crazy bootleg design - count me in, kickass cyborg - how could I say no, and of course, Japanese vinyl!! Arggh it's like someone took my wet dream and went through the process of sculpting it.

If anyone in the Tokyo area does make a visit to Star Case, please pass me any details along. I would love to have one of these guys, and am willing to do another 24 hour stint on a cramped bus again if I have to.

bad news Darth Vader is sold out

Coolest SW hybrid since the S7 Stormtrooper Jumbo Machinder. My first thought is that this is what Vader would look like if SW came out in '66 instead of '77.

For some reason it makes me think of a Vader Gigantor.

Definitely has a Tetsujin-28 color scheme to it.

So as Damaged Bryan found, all the Space Black Robots are sold out. But, there is a bright side. The next version should be released towards the end of this month ideally. And international orders are ok, as long as you can make you're way through Star Case's Japanese shopping site. Paypal is accepted.
