I don't get why everyone assumes he's angry because he wanted this zag. From what I gathered he has a problem with the 1% that own a mishka zag, (due to unfair business practices), that are bringing us 99'ers down.

Personally, I don't think we should be trying to tell people that have so far been successful at bringing the world of Japanese Vinyl to our shores, how to run things. Obviously Gargamel wouldn't be making, Greg, hand painted zags to sell if they had a problem with how he's doing business.

That said, where did the DIY "spirit of 99" go?

Thanks for the kind words. I stand by what I wrote, and still resent the posting of a picture in an info thread just to promote a release. I apologized to Joe, that was unneeded and unwarranted by me. And I can appreciate you 20-year-olds who support these Nag tactics for a figure that I collect. I guess you are all right and it is just commerce: a sale of a product that Greg arranged, so why give a sh$t? I hope Greg does this with a wide range of toys, maybe even one you really have a passion for, and you know, after this I won't say a word if he does. I can always pay for any toy that I want and can wait the time needed for a toy to become available, but I do appreciate the makers of toys, as I expressed, who think of their fans first and the dollar second. Now back to fun with toys.

I understand what you were trying to say, but many things you did say were uncalled for and blown way out of proportion.
When all is said and done, Greg had an awesome 1/1 camo zag made for him. He begged Kiyoka to make a run for his Mishka fans specifically. He had a mailing list where if you were a Mishka fan, you would join (which it was and still is open to the public). If this zag was announced beforehand, anyone who wanted that zag would join Mishka's fan list just for the zag, and not because they are true Mishka fans. Greg wanted to have this release made for his fans, and he did.
You sir are not the only Zagoran completist out there, and sure as hell are not the only die-hard fan/collector of Zags. There are many who missed this release, and there are many who are bummed about it. But they do not start public mud slinging just because they missed out on this toy. And taking your frustration out on Joe is beyond childish. Whether he is on top of every kaiju release or not, he is taking time out of his life to run an amazing blog which most of us truly appreciate.
Ultimately, Greg didn't have to ask Kiyoka to make this release, and then there would only be one of these zags in existence, of which you would pretty much have 0% chance of getting. Now, there are ten more of these beauties out there, and your chance (as well as everyone else's) of getting a Mishka camo zag has increased. Calm down, wait patiently, and maybe one will eventually find its way into your collection... Seriously.

I don't get the general camo either. Totally think of kids who were into GI Joe (which I hated) when I was all He-Man. BUT I like the Mishka one because of the colors. I'm not a "mud green, tan, brown" fan, but understand someone might be, and so I don't care for the regular camos. I do like black, pink and blue though.

Yeah, the Camo is OK, but Mishka colors are awesome. If it was purple vinyl with the blue spray on the belly I would like it just as much.

So we need a discertation on the perceived attractive-ness of camo??

Camo is like big boobs. Some people just don't like them....

Is it because the media hypes big boobs? Maybe, but I (like most) think people who don't like them are crazy... but to each their own.
