Instead of one single eye like the Ollie, it's an over-load of eyes! And are those doll eyes on the back?! That's awesome, Beautifully sculpted and beautifully painted. There is just so many details to look at. I'm even going to go back after this post and stare at the pictures some more.

This is the exploration part. To really fine tune what I like and dislike. This the first painted , what till I really lock it down and hit a stride.

Drools. Those pics look amazing. Also question Rich, why did you decide to place the logo's on both foot vs placing it on only one foot and having the other foot hold date, company name/intial, made in, etc?

I chose both stamps so that when he sits you see the images. As to use the bottom of the feet as another place I could paint. I will probably get paint masks for them. I really don't want to loose any space for use. It's never been done as far as I know. I was actually thinking about sculpting face and adding doll eyes. Maybe the next figure I'll do that

Also at this point we all know who it's by and where it's from. Most are familiar with the logo so you know it's by me. If not it will just another toy people stumble across and never know who made it.

That's a really great working process Rich, it's nice to see all the possibilities of future releases, rolled up into one toy. I love the fact that you keep continuously putting out quality toys.

This guy looks like he would fit right in with any of the other "large name company" fight figs. But he also stands on his own, as a great figure.

I'm more than pumped to get a look at, Doji-San, as well.

I'm sure you'll see some references and influences in there.

Was the trailer a collaboration of ideas, or was it all you, using images you thought were relevant IVth? I've seen that trailer before, and I was interested in the way you work on these.

A collaborations of ideas. Mainly Rich. He had certain movies he wanted to reference. Ghoulies being one of them.
Joker and Onibaba were the other two (reference to his logo and color schemes- green & purple).
I just pieced the madness together to make it resemble MVH.
