Konatsu-san is a Japanese female artist who is the one behind the designs and creation of Kaiju Negora with the help of Mark Nagata and Yo Miyamoto of Max Toy Company. Kaiju Negora is sculpted by Yoshihiko Makino-san of TTToys.

1st release. Max Toy Company club member exclusive only! Released in a special packaging of a cat nip bag. Original release late August 2011. This figure was again re-release without the cat nip bag packaging on November 10, 2012 for Design Fest 36 in Japan for the price of 2,200 yen.

*The first release had special packaging which was a type of cloth bag to resemble a small bag of cat nip.
2nd release. Hyper Hobby exclusive. September 1, 2011 release. Cost 2700 yen + 1000 yen S&H.
3rd release. Toy Karma 3 gallery show exclusive held at the Rotofugi Gallery. Cost $50. September 10, 2011 release.
4th release. Was made available first to Max Toy Company club members with planned sales to the general public. MTC club members had purchased all that was in stock. One-Up store in Japan also received a limited amount to sell. Cost $40 + S&H. Offer for sale to MTC club members on October 18, 2011.
*2013 4th release re-issues. These reissues are exact paint job as when they were first release. MTC Japan re-issue on March 24, 2013 for 3,400 yen. Also MTC USA re-issued to MTC club members in April 2013 for $45 + S&H.
5th release. Exclusive to the new One-Up store located on the third floor of the Akiba Culture Zone plaza. It was made available on October 28, 2011 for the grand opening of the Akiba Culture Zone plaza. Cost 3,300 yen. Sold out 2nd day.
6th release. One-Up exclusive. Blank white vinyl. Cost 2,500 yen. Made available December 1, 2011.
7th release. 2 version. Medicom Project 1/6 exclusives. Cost 2,700 yen. Released December 10, 2011.

8th release. U.S. sales Max Toy Company offered to club members first on January 29, 2012 before general public sales on January 31, 2012. Max Toy Company Price $40 + 7 S&H. Japan sales from One-Up Akiba Culture Zone shop and online shop on February 3, 2012 for 3,200 yen. Acutal shipping release early February 2012.
*A re-release was made available for pre-order on June 22, 2013 for 2,700 yen directly from MTC Japan only. Pre-order sales made during the Negora festival held at Kaiju Saloon who had their own exclusive mini Kaiju Negora colorway which was the 34th release.
9th release. Wonder Festival Japan exclusive. Cost 2,700 yen. Released February 12, 2012. Additional sales made in the US from Max Toy Company after WF.
10th release. Labeled as "siamese color version kaiju Negora." Sold first in Japan from One-Up stores and online on February 28, 2012 for 3,200 yen. USA sales from Max Toy Company offer first to their club members on February 29. General public sales on March 2, 2012 directly from MTC online shop for $40 + S&H.

11th release. Doki Doki Osaka Sofubi Expo show exclusive. Released March 20, 2012.
12th Release. A free giveaway to random guest for the KONATSUNAGATA art show - A two person art show featuring artists Konatsu and Mark Nagata. Held from March 31 - April 1, 2012 at the Harajuku Design Festa Gallery at East 202 Tokyo, Japan. Only 3 gold were made to be given away.
13th release. Tokyo's Tokyo store exclusive located at the Tokyo Plaza in Harajuku. Cost 3,200 yen. April 18, 2012 release.
14th release. Design Festa 35 exclusive. Cost 2,700 yen. May 12 & 13, 2012 release. Max Toy Company also offered a pre-order sales on this Design Festa 35 exclusive directly from them for $40 + $5 S&H. Offers went first to club members on May 9, 2012 and the remaining items not bought by club members were put up on their online shop on May 11, 2012 to the general public (only 4 were available to general public per Mark). And One-Up also offered online sales for 3,200 yen on May 13, 2012.


Max Toy Company booth had sold out of all their planned Negora releases on the first day (May 12, 2012) of Design Festa 35. On the second day (May 13) of the show Yo Miyamoto had brought in some GID Kaiju Negora with Big Fish for sale. I'm guessing these may have been unplanned sales since they sold out first day of all the Negoras.
15th releases. Sofubi Michi presents Tokuma EC Hyper Hobby online shop exclusives. Online sales began May 26, 2012 (sold out first day). Two different sets were offered as exclusives.

16th release. SDCC exclusive sold at Rotofugi booth. Price $50. SDCC held from July 12 to 15, 2012.
17th release. Wonder Festival Japan exclusive. Price 2,700 yen. July 29, 2012 release.
18th release. Akiba Daisuki Festival exclusive set. Painted simular to the 13th release, but has multi-color eyes for this version. Set included mini Kaiju Negora with Big Fish and a micro Negora. Festival held from August 18th & 19th at Tokyo's Tokyo Plaza with sales at One-Up booth. Price 4,000 yen. August 18, 2012 release.
19th release. FOE Gallery exclusive to the new store located at the grand opening of 114 Main Street, MA. In store price $45 on September 14, 2012. Additional online sales if any are left over on September 16, 2012 submitted by email to FOE will be $45 + $7 S&H.
20th release. One-Up exclusive. Online shop preorder sales only for the of price 2,700 yen + S&H from September 27 to 29, 2012. Limited to 3 sets per customer order. These unpainted flesh vinyl sales are being offer to custom for submissions to Negora Art Exhibition held from January 28, 2013 to February 9, 2013 at the One Up Akiba Zone Shop. Winners of this event will win prizes. Expected shipping released October 2012.
21st release. Halloween Kaiju Negora with candy colored Big Fish. This is the very first flock release for sale. Max Toy Company club members were offer first shot to purchase this release for price of $50 with free shipping in the USA or $5 for international shipping on October 21, 2012. Club members were limited to ordering a max of 2 pieces. Then on October 24, 2012 a small amount was offer for open sale on Max Toy Company online webstore for $50 + S&H (U.S. or International). Open sales were limited to only 1 order per customer. Shipping of these items started on October 26, 2012 per Mark Nagata on Max Brain blog.


The above candy corn colored Big Fish was made available first. The Halloween Kaiju Negora was sold again as the 23rd release at Design Festa 36 but with a different Big Fish color.
22nd release. One-Up Akiba Culture Zone store 1 year anniversary exclusive. In store sales with raffle tickets given out for lottery. There was a total of 10 pieces for sale instore. Then on the same day at 9 pm online shop sales (sold out in a few minutes). Price 3,200 yen. Released October 28, 2012.

23rd releases. 4 Kaiju Negora's released as Design Fest 36 exclusives. Price 3,700 yen each for the flocked versions. Starndard paint version price 2,700 yen. And clear yellow vinyl price 2,200 yen. All released on November 10, 2012.
*This Design Festa 36 exclusive was labeled as Negora Otosan (Dad) on Max Toy Company Japan blog. There was also a micro flocked version of the same colorway released at the show labeled as "micro Negora son that was sold individually. Limited to 40 pieces. Only 20 was made available at the show and the other 20 as mail order directly from MTC Japan after the show. Per Yo Miyamoto of MTC Japan this was actually the first flocked to be produced but not for sale until Design Festa (the Halloween version from Max Toy Company USA in October was the first sales).

*This Halloween Kaiju Negora Design Festa 36 exclusive was originally released by Max Toy Company USA as the 21st release in October 2012. But this release has a new colored Big Fish labeled as Big Fish Hone Hone (skeleton/bone) color pattern (The original Halloween Big Fish release was candy corn colored pattern). Limited to 20. Only 10 was made available at the show and the other 10 as mail order directly from MTC Japan after the show.

*This Design Fest 36 exclusive unlike the other 2 is not flocked. Production run unknown. Price 2,700 yen.

* This figure is actually a re-release of the very 1st release. The very first issue was to Max Toy Company club members only which came in a special cat nip bag packaging back in August 2011. This re-release does not come in with the cat nip packaging. Price for this reissue was 2,200 yen.

*One-Up also offered the full Negora Design Fest 36 releases on their online shop on November 12, 2012 for the price of 26,800 yen.

24th release. Angel Abby exclusive. Limited edition all handpainted by Mark Nagata. Price $50 + $10 S&H USA. December 1, 2012 online sales.
25th release. Official label by Yo Miyamoto MTC Japan as "Candy Snow Negora." And Official Label by Mark Nagata for MTC USA as "Holiday Flocked Negora." Offer first as Japan sales only directly from Max Toy Company Japan for 3,000 yen (price includes shipping). Email submissions on December 15, 2012. And then offer to Max Toy Company club members on December 16, 2012 for price $50 (shipping included). Additional open sales to general public on December 19 also $50 plus cost of shipping.

26th release. Flabslab (Singapore Shop) exclusive. Limited edition of 30 on clear yellow vinyl. Sales open to Singapore and International buyers by email only. December 28, 2012 sales.
27th release. Exclusives for the One-Up Akiba "Custom Kaiju Negora Show By Fans" featuring Mark Nagata and Todd Robertson. Exhibition held from January 20 to 27, 2013. Limited edition of 30. Release late January 2013.
28th release. Officially labeled as Negora Valentine Choco version. Wonder Festival exclusive. Price 2,700 yen. Released February 27, 2013.

29th release. The Hang Gang exclusive released at ToyCon London UK show. Price £40. April 6, 2013 release.


30th release. Direct sales from Max Toy Company USA. Mini kaiju Negora w/Big Fish sales first offered to Max Toy Club Members. Price $45. Released online sales April 10, 2013. Also offer to MTC Japan as a set with a micro Negora for price 3,800 yen on April 24, 2013.

31st release. Open pre-order made to production sales directly from Max Toy Company USA started April 1, 2013 for price of $45 + S&H for only the mini kaiju Negora w/Big Fish. MTC Japan sales began as a set for the mini kaiju Negora w/Big Fish and micro Negora as a set on April 24, 2013 for 3,500 yen. May 2013 release.
32nd release. "Rakugaki Negora" Medicom Project 1/6 Present Campaign. These NFS blank blue vinyl kaiju Negora were only given away as a novelty for collecting 20 stamps. You receive 1 stamp when purchasing over 1,000 yen at Medicom Project 1/6 store. This campaign is only available in store only. So no sales by mail order or online were eligible for this campaign. Campaign started May 1, 2013.


33rd releases. Design Festival 37 exclusives. A total of 3 different mini kaiju Negora were offered at Design Fest on opening day May 18, 2013. The 3 offered were labeled by Max Toy Company Japan as Meltdown-chan, Soldiers, and Anatomy-kun.

Kaiju Negora Tora-chan (official name). First made available for sale in Japan at Wonder Festival for Price 2,700 yen on July 28, 2013. Additional sales to Max Toy Company USA club members later on August 9, 2013 for $45 + $5 S&H.

This "Desert Camouflage Kaiju Negora" (official name) sales were also suppose to be for Wonder Festival July 28, 2013 sales for 2,800 yen. Unfortunately production did not finish in time to sell it at Wonder Festival. So orders were taken instead at the event and then mail out later on the first week of August 2013.

36th release. Preorders began directly from Max Toy Company on August 21, 2013. Price $45 + S&H. Late October 2013 release.
