Hey Lixx who's the voodoo looking seijin, on brown vinyl with red eyes an white fangs?

It's either Enmago or Zizou, not sure which one. I'm suppose to have the mini that went with it but it's become a very sticky situation with that seller not sending me the mini or refunding me for it since I bought it in Feb!

Enmago is the big one and Zizou is the mini, from Ultraman Taro. I paid far to much for my set but they were originally one of my most coveted Butanohana releases.

I keep posting Buta photos everywhere else so I figured it was time to drop a couple here.

Finally had the chance to unpack this great set of micro over the weekend, and I wanted to snap some photos to really capture the detail so we can all see some up-close pics of them. Unfortunately, you really need a macro lens and the proper lighting to do these guys justice. The vinyl is very shiny, and the particular colours of this first set make photographing them somewhat difficult, so I have done my best. Here is a shot of the entire series, but I have full size images of each I can post on flickr.



I just have to say, these are absolutely stunning in hand. I know the price point from most sources made these out f reach for most people, but the detail is absolutely amazing, and you can really see how much time and effort went in to sculpting each one. I think it really comes across that Shig is a real Ultra fan, and that childhood love is what makes Buta figures so great. I am looking forward to hours of fun having kaiju batttles with these little guys. Bring on the other colours!

I must say, I do feel sorry for poor Go-ga. He is lost in that crowd and just peering up at all the 'tall folks' for someone to help out, or at least not trample him.

Go-ga did just fine, his colorful shell being a fine defense against multitudes of monster feet. Not everyone was so lucky.

Funeral services will be held for baby Puckey at dusk tomorrow; Sudaru's gelatinous remains were hosed down the sewer grate by the night shift.
