Re: New Butanohana
Um, hi everybody... anybody notice Gorgos?!!!!? Been holding my breath since the tease sculpt forever ago. spacemonkey66 wrote: I can not distinguish between the two colour variants of the new Butanohana Garamon... It looks kind of like he did the chest insignia/no chest insignia trick to distinguish between the two of them as well.

The Gorgos and the Garamon/Pigmon look fantastic. The Goji is disappointing.

Re: New Butanohana
@TK - are you talking about the 3/4 views we've seen, or are other photos up elsewhere that I've not come across? Also, can anyone tell me where the info on Garamon's paintways was found? I guess I haven't Googled hard enough

Re: New Butanohana
Hmm I was thinking just Garamon till someone mentioned the climbers on Gorgos- that might have sold me. I'm with Alex- Goji isn't that amazing.

Re: New Butanohana
I'm picking up on Goji just so Matango can have someone to hang out with - The shroom's my only Toho and the camps don't mix on my shelves!

Call me crazy, but I actually like the front view of the little Goji. The Garomonds are a must.

Re: New Butanohana
It's really just the paint app on the Goji that's not doing it for me, Think i will still go for him though the sculpt rules.

Re: New Butanohana
Its actually quite interesting that Son of Goji is sculpted to standard Buta height. So far, all the Goji was more mid sized. He looks to be around Red King's height. I thought the head sculpt is great, especially the eyes/ eyelids. Not to forget the fins on the back which is not seen yet. Thanks for highlighting the climbers, Alex. Didn'thave my reading glasses on

Re: New Butanohana
I'm not really sure about hotlinking and I am far too lazy to re-host so go on and click through to Ohashi's blog so you can see what I'm talking about. It looks like there are some new pics on Mr.Ohashi's blog. It would appear that Garamon and Garamon Ω are actually different (although very similar) sculpts. It's not just the chest emblem - there are slight differences in his hands, lips, fins, etc. It would appear there is also a slight paint difference but the photos don't show it too well. There's also a really nice [clear] closeup of Takeru and the life stone on Gorgos! Awesome! As an aside, every time I see those papercrafts in photos I am hit with some serious pangs of regret. When I was just getting started I saw a couple of those on YAJ at separate times without knowing what they were and never made a bid. God if I knew then what I knew now.... edit: Wow at how fast these sold out!

Thanks for the heads-up, Onion. Now... Ready? Set? Scrutinize! While we're at it, here's a nice detail, mentioned above:

Joe will there be some kind of advance warning before they go live on the S7 site or should I start slamming F5 now?
