Sometimes it's just a combo of the humidity and paint dry time. I have had this problem before. I just gave my figure a nice spray of clear-coat and the problem was no more. Krylon clear coat semigloss works great. Good luck.

I had a huge sticky problem with the silver Kaws chum 400% Kubrick, and the Santa Inoyue Tokyo Tribe 400% as well. They eneded up being super sticky all the time. I suspected someone might have prayed them with a cleaning solution that reacted...but had no evidence to prove this. Anyway, boith ultra sticky, enuf to leave residue allover the bototm of the Detolf they were in.

Sometimes the plasticizer (the chemical that keeps plastic & vinyl from becoming brittle) starts to leach out, making for sticky toys. This usually only happens on older stuff, though. Sometimes the paint reacts over time, as well. If the figure can handle it, sometimes simply washing with soap and water helps.

I actually washed the two sticky toys, but it didn't seem to help.

Plasticizer eh?

Relax, your soaking in it.

God, knowing that makes me feel as old as when I know the songs Kozik lampoons.
