Really digging the finished versions of the brain weapon gorz! Why did I have to come look at this thread? At least they're small.

Damn. Ilu Ilu's attention to detail, right down to the packaging, is unparalleled. I like certain things about Tokio and Neo Gorilla, but never enough to find one. Görz and Pepy (especially that multicolored hair one) are both incredible. I wish to hell Ilu Ilu would produce standard sized toys, though. The tallest is Görz and he's only about 5.9".

From what I understand Sakaguchi does this as a hobby, no? With that many outside commitments I would imagine full size sculpts would take him all year for a single release and he'd probably have to skip all the other figures. Worth it though

I have always been apprehensive about clear vinyl, due to yellowing issues but Gorz is making me rethink my position. The detail work on the arm joints is just so pretty; I don't think I've ever seen that much work put into what is essentially a hidden joint in most other toys. The box is no slouch either. Very, very impressive.

i would absolutely love some Amitsuki - i've never even come close to finding any for sale though

WOW.. never was a big fan of the gorilla, but that brain weapon guy is pretty amazing.

Pepy blows my mind. I love how that robot neck and torso also resembles a turtleneck and sweater vest. So stylish 70's fashion. The lion with the big crown belt buckle seems so random but works well with the look. The attention to unique details is so fantastic in these toys.

Pepy's cool, looks like Maza and Shuttlegon got it on and this is the adorable offspring. I like everything Ilu Ilu does so far, just trying to be patient though. Don't complain about "retail" prices when we gotta deal with exchange rates and retail + "agent" prices (or +friends shipping or +shops cut etc.)

Lots of detail and work put into these. They may be small but consider how much work went into such a small thing, that's tough and rigorous! Such little details to be sculpted and painted that way, that's nothing to scoff at, it's not some big free spray on the belly. So much attention put into these. I really appreciate all of the work and packaging.

Gorz is great. Pepy is nice too, but I don't like the feet on him.

Gorz is a no brainer, but no love for the owl dudes? I would love to score a couple of these for my owl lovin partner....its always nice when my obsession (japanese toys) croses over with his (owls)...but it hardly ver does. Fingers x'd.
