But in the end it was their customer service that has led me to selling most of my 3A collection and slowly ignoring their new releases. They make some toys that look great, but I can't support a company that treats me like I'm worthless and should be thankful that they ever ship me anything for my money.

Anybody knows what happened with the Tank Girl fig that 3A said they were gonna make some time ago? Did it ever get made?

There are a ton of 3a x ___ that have been pushed to the backburner. I was pretty excited for 3a x spawn. Hopefully the MaK stuff comes out this year though.

That's terrible. Always wanted a Tank Girl toy. I hate the waiting time anyways. toybotstudios wrote: Axolotl wrote: Anybody knows what happened with the Tank Girl fig that 3A said they were gonna make some time ago? I too wish Ash would have chosen a fireball with a 1/12 pilot that really comes of the suit (as opposed to the half figures in other Ma.K toys) also on the fence about MGS REX, Seamonkey, Halo, Real Steel. Micronauts Acroyer might be interesting.

At the price that Krote will likely be, I think I'd rather have one of the actual Ma. K kits instead.
Any word on the blindpack portable Zombs? Was it March or May?

 Re: threeA Toys
The shipping thing is way over whined about. As a customer I know there are delays with 3A gear getting released dead on the date published at sale. To me 6 months between pre-sale and arrival seems to work out about right. I keep that in mind as I order. I expect 6 month turn around. Some of these toys look to be damn intricate to make. I'd prefer to wait than to get less impressive toys from 3A. Besides, I can only imagine the hissy fits and tears if/when 3A pre-makes all releases and peeps miss out.
Not sure what problems people have had with customer service, but it seems pretty good to me. Having said that, I've not had many issues really. 3A have/are replacing the toys that were sent out sub-par. I got another set of 4 Zombs because of colour issues, and will be getting the TQ replaced for the flakey skin. Can't think of getting that from other companies. Again, I don't expect pristine perfection in a mass produced toy...
But yeah, too many lines blurring into each other. Recycled ideas and sculpts forever revolving around and the impression of Ash and 3A digging themselves into a hole they can't climb out of have had me loosing interest the past little while. Fuck bringing any of that up on the forums though...
Where to peeps sell their 3A stuff? Is there a sales section at the 3A forum?

There is an "Unofficial 3A BST" but you have to be approved which is no easy task and is filled with moderators just like the 3A boards, there's also a BST on FB that you have to be approved but they pretty much let anyone that requests to be in, in. Also there's also the KR boards.

 Re: threeA Toys
Its refreshing to see people posting their issues with Ash and 3A as a whole. More so that none of you are getting bashed for doing so. Just doesn't sit right with me when Ash says stuff like, and this is a loose quote "if you don't like what we're doing then go buy something else."
I like a few figures, I own a Zomb and have a couple portable Zombs coming. Other than that, I will not spend another cent on his products. Too many issues and not enough resolutions.

When I first said something negative about 3A on my site I got quite a bit of mail from fans just angry that I would do anything but praise the company. It's great to see that people are now able to voice their opinions without getting piled on.

 Re: threeA Toys
My $270 Blind Cowboy set arrived and was looking awesome . . . until I found the broken part inside. I was snapping pics with my BlackBerry as I opened the box -- http://www.battlegrip.com/?p=36496 -- and I have to say that the packaging was fantastic. The fact that one piece was broken, though, sucked. And now 3A is asking me to mail the saddle back -- http://www.battlegrip.com/?p=36696 -- at my own expense. I didn't pay $270 so they could send me a broken toy and then ask me to pay to send a part back. What kills me is reports from others who had broken pieces and were sent replacement parts without the need to send anything back. Has anyone had direct experience with 3A and broken toys? Did you have to mail stuff to Hong Kong to get your replacement parts?

I liked his toys, the cult mentality made me ill and drove me away. Surprising really, I never thought it would subside.

 Re: threeA Toys
I think 3A's customer service should be pretty tops amongst mainstream toy companies (disclaimer: I'm a BIG fan and I love their stuff) I dealt with before (eg hot toys, yamato, bandai). I had missing pouches and a 1/6 head exchange when my original head turned greenish which is due to a problem they acknowledged. From my experience so far, normally I just take a pic with my nick beside and pay shipping for whatever replacements they are sending over. Pretty hassle free.
