I've got a couple of tengu bell ornaments as well. Mine are the more humanoid form, as opposed to those karasu-styled ones. I wish someone would make a cool tengu toy. I've thought about just trying it myself.

3 of my 4 favorite things in 1 simple, balanced display: vinyls, cheap bootleg action figures, and my son Oliver (the 4th thing is my other son, Seth, who's photo hasn't found its place in this display setup yet).

And I'm sure my daughter will skip the cool dad part and go straight to the embarassment. My wife, family and friends alternate between admiring the toys and teasing me about them. Such is life.

My old landlord made fun of me once and said "Chris you collect dolls, hate to break it to you but you collect friggin dolls!" To which I replied "Judging from your hacking cough at night at least I don't collect cancer!"

I still am in love with that Salamander Joe, the see through red/pink head is awesome in the light. I also like those puppets a lot!
What a great shelf...
