He is very short. I met him at a signing back in my high school days and I was kinda shocked at how short he was. I am 6 ft and he seemed around a foot shorter than me. But he still looked like cool dude though! He had these great Ray Bans on that looked really cool. I recently got the same Ray Bans because I always remembered them from that day. ...Okaaaay pointless...

God that album was so good. Classic. I saw them on that tour too. It was so awesome. I need to dig it out of my archives. I haven't listened to it in years. And I have no problem with shortness, it was just a shock cause the dude looks frickin tall and massive in all the photos and videos. All camera trickery...

I met him once back in the late 80's, I worked in a big indie record/comic store in downtown Pittsburgh...he was very nice. He mentioned he had been buying up all the Aurora horror model kit original box art. I don't remember if he said anything about Japanese toys.

My old band stayed with Tim Kerr /Big Boys in Austin, he had a room full of Japanese toys. One thing that stands out- an inflatable Space Cruiser Yamato kite- it was like the ship with clear wings. Really cool.

i'm tall. it sucks. when i'm at work, i'm expected to lift all the crates off of the top shelf in the warehouse. lifting 50+ lbs overhead is not fun, no matter how tall you are.
