For those who might appreciate some fair warning, the link leads to a site that mocks politicized Christian extremism. It's ostensibly a rant against "hipsters" but it's actually vile homophobic hate speech, albeit intended as parody.

Not trying to rain on humor here but yikes ... too real IMHO, despite the intentionally exaggerated ignorance.

Yes, club friends and i went over this site before and it's extreamisn seems all to real until you see thier tee shirts. I guess the problem is that fundamentalism is a self parody so trying to satarize it is just redundant realism.

Sorry, I figured people here would see it for the joke it is but you are correct. The style of their satire can seem all to real when juxtaposed against real life ignorance. If it's offensive I can remove the link.

That's cool of you Daimyo and frankly I worried about coming across as too serious. Not requesting removal or anything like that ... it's totally understood that this is parody. I just felt it fair to offer some warning, that's all. There are both good Christians and gay folks in this community hence my "warning."

I read the thing before I saw the stuff in the margins and realized that I'd mistakenly taken it to be serious. Maybe the negativity elsewhere on the board got to me today ... no apology necessary.
