Kaiju LB

- Marine Kong x 2 (unpainted clear colors; possibility of mixed-part version)

Blue is the mail-order version. Purple version was sold at the last Superfestival.

This sounds amazing and I hope it is true for all the bags. Especially the clear brown T-28. If Shikaruna keeps producing stuff like this I'm going to have to clear a few shelves just for them.

The amount of detail in the fur of this sculpt is stunning. I love Shikaruna.

Really? I was thinking not as nice as the original, but then to each their own.

Yeah, at first I was slightly torn. After closer examination of my current collection against the photo of the new head, I'm still leaning more towards the original. I feel like the new sculpt is a bit too animated and detracts from the "beastily/monster" like qualities of the original. I mean, the eyes on the original I think give it that friendlier/goofy look, but with the mouth closed and all those razor sharp teeth aligned, you know he's still a badass

The new one has an overly happy expression, like he wants to give you a hug (in the photographed pose), haha

However, to each their is own is quite true.

The new head also looks bigger, making him even more goofy. The expression is nice but doesn't really fit the sculpt. I also notice the back teeth still appear clinched or shut which looks really weird to me.

Hey guys I'm new to the whole game and these fellas have caught my attention, cause from what I've seen they churn out some of the best looking kaiju in the business. I plan on picking up my first of their figures from another boardie on here sometime in the next week (as soon as I get my funds all straightened out), but I was hoping I could get some advice on where I should be looking for these.

What's the general go-to method for gaijinfolk to obtain their new releases? Their website + a middleman?

Where tends to be the best aftermarket option for them? Yahoo auctions? Mandarake? Forums?
