 Skull Pirate vs. Blopi FINISHED.
Who would win?
Just an outline so far. Sorry for crappy scan.
Stay tuned for colored finished version.
Edit. Updated finished pics. Thanks everyone for the kind words. Everyone's ideas were great. i just had to go the colorful route as this was comissioned. Maybe one day, I'll do something line art with really faded 1 color.
Hope you like as much as i liked doing.
1/4" plexi gives depth a new meaning.

There we go again - amazing work as always! You manage to take toys that I feel "meh" about and create awesome paintings from them!
And I kinda agree with whoever said they almost look better as just black linework...maybe they just look equally as awesome as the color versions, cos colored or not they look great!

I'd like to see this coloured using different sepia tones. Kinda like you'd see if you were looking through a really old book on pirate adventures or something. To me it seems perfectly suited for this.
All of your work is amazing but this and the Bemon image are particularly good. The characters are amazing and there seems to be another level in terms of a story being told.
I dig these and they are such an amazing contribution to this board. I mean don't get me wrong, I love all of the toy images posted here but these are something special.

I was kinda thinking the same thing... a monotone print would be interesting, but I've loved all his pieces so I'm just looking forward to seeing what he'll do with it.

The colors on the plexi pieces are crazy in person , the effect from painting the front and then painting from the reverse side add so much depth.

You rock! I totally love the work you have been putting out! Does anyone know what the art work on the header cards of the Blobpi is? The show a blobpi clutching onto a girl near a river. What is the story behind this?

What can I say? You guys are the reason why I paint. (aside from the vynil payment of course). I really feel inspired by the love of toys. Guess it just comes through in the art. My short term goals are: keep bringing the level of art higher and higher with every comission so you guys don't get tired of looking at me.
Thanks everyone and Steven, that Kraken is insane. I'd love to see a Kraken inspired Kaiju. Awwww yeah! Simplified a bit to look a little 80s retro.
