Thanks for posting the great pictures guys! I've beenso busy with a new project, but I've still got things rolling with the UU! Still eating on the vinyl for the KFHC drop, but it's supposed to get here any day! Expect some KFHC header art and a little screen (by moi) with those guys!

I did another small batch of XRAY guys! These will come with me to SUPERFESTIVAL on January 9th!



And thanks to my new equipment, I'm able to paint longer and feel less loopy!

Despite a hold up at the factpry, I managed 2 new small runs for release at Sufesu on January 9th. Here they are:

1)Clear x-ray Uglies (a new picture here ) -


2)SNOWGON Uglies! These guys are painted based on a Kaiju named "Snowgon" - from "Return of Ultra Man." Snowgon was also an 'ugly unicorn" of sorts - he had one horn.



Lots of collaboratie stuff at my SUFESU table as well - RAMPAGE x KIKKAKE (the bears), x Ilanena (Dai Kaiju Card monsters), x Velocitron (ghouls), and x Chima Croup! Pics are going up on zee Flickr little by little (sig).

Sweet painting Grizlli! I like the eyes . Got some more vinyl from Ricky yesterday - psyched!

So, Sufes was a great time, and I was psyched to get a little gift from Ilanena-san - a 'My Little Ponies - esque' Ugly Unicorn!

Next up are GID Unicorns! Mr.Grizlli is doing some sweet header cards (a la the above image - in his post), which I'm psyched about! The figures will be made to order - and there will be an open order for blanks - probably all around the end of the month or start of February.

Releasing this Friday (2/3/2012). These will be sold along with blank GID unicorns on a pre-order basis: pre-order will be up for a week. Painteds are limited in availability, but blanks are wide open - people can grab as many as they like.

That rainbow paint is really nice Jon, I really like the pupil shape.

I've been working on a run of Uglies as well. I sculpted pupils and tongue onto all of them with magic sculpt. The eyeball and tongue position is different on all of them.
Here's one with the sculpted add ons. I'm in the process of painting them now

Yeah man! I'm super stoked for these! Can't wait to get me hands on one I've basically just been keeping blank Unicorns, so it will be really gool to add your painted version to the line-up!

And Joe's Unicorns look SWEET! I saw a painted version the other day - Joe's style is awesome, and the small sculpted details look so good!

Yeah, here is a wip shot, I'll be releasing this run of 10 soon, and a few one-offs, Got a heap of stuff I'm trying to get out the door. Hoping to release these guys in the next few weeks.

Katsu gets all the credit for the Kermit eyes, Her drawings are what inspired it. It was great working with jon on this release.

Thanks man! Some 'angry eyes' are Coming soon though, which I'm looking forward to. The eyes in Joe's figures make me realize that there must be 100 ways to paint them!
