So im gonna use this thread to show toys that i rerooted with doll hair. Im still getting the hang of it but the first two i worked on came out pretty dope. I have broken all my rooting needles though and am waiting for more in the mail, they arent very strong. So without further a do, E-Man with a pony tail!

Reminds me of a couple years ago when my wife was going through chemo. She shaved her head before the chemo made it fall out, and decided one day to re-hair a used up Barbie doll. It was a very provocative move. She got some good reactions, and some really bad ones. Like some people were all grossed out and thought she was mental. Heh.

Well, for myself, a ponytail starting that high up with no surrounding hair is a top knot as was prevalent in Asia.

A top knot is just a way of styling hair... It was a traditional Chamorro hair style for men.

This is awesome I was just offered some real human hair. Gonna mess around, just need to practice on some custom fodder, so far the sofubi takes the hair very well, and I'm not adding any glue inside the seal the plugs.

The doll hair looks great as is, and compliments the sculpt nicely. It might be fun to style it, but it works right now.

for punching vinyl i would totally recommend making your own from sewing needles...will save you a small fortune in the long run.

np, you will break them in vinyl, so make up like half a dozen DIY ones at a time, i sharpen them on a dremel after i clip them. takes maybe 30 minutes...
