I would've had to have one if it did come apart, Alien Autopsy all the way!

Congrat's on the score LD. This may be my first Kaws item that is 100% Kaws and not a collaboration.

I see this as a KAWSxHIRST though Hirst probably had no input or communication with Kaws.

I would have to agree with you Muton.
After seeing it all day, I'm really intrigued by it, whereas before I had no interest at all.
I probably won't buy one, but I have definitely changed my position on the figure.

i am weak. i bought one before a pricedrop (to hell w/ asymetry (sp).. i'll just display it by itself)... i also thought it is grey so i can match my 5yl... dammit, it's so hard to tell in the pics. oh well, hopefully i will score one of those at kawsone if that is the color they release.

Aren't they grey with brown shoes? So a completely different colourway?
I'm confused...

Yeah I'm a little confused too on the exact colorway. I just need a black one if they end up doing one.
There's approx one "crap-ton" of these on YJA right now...I can't imagine all of them going super high.

Well the OF ones are definitely grey with brown shoes but the Super7 cover photo makes it look closer to the brown 5YL Companion.
Kozik's prediction of a Kawsone.com colorway makes sense. This begs the question, are you guys going for all colorways?
I was anti-colorway until I started collecting Secret Base, haha.

Fuck the colourwhoreway.
I just need a brown to balance out my black and grey 5YL.
If not possible, I'll rethink.
Makes no sense to chase multiple colourways.
I think the figure would weaken with multiples.
All this completist crap gets me down.
Use your brain, make decisions.
Instead of buying everything.

I'm with you on this one. Multiple colorways would just dillute the impact of the piece. Needs to be one, displayed by itself. It's not so simple like the 5yl that necessitated multiple colorways although those could stand by themselves also.
Shit, i'll just be happy if I could have one.

KAWS' inspiration?
I took this in the UK at the Royal Academy of Arts earlier this year. By Damien Hirst.
