The work for this show is fantastic! So bummed I'm not gonna be able to make it to there. I'd love to see all of these in person.

I saw my coloring contest entry got to FOE today and was happy to see it up on facebook since I didn't take a pic of it myself.

The idea came from my 21 month old son. When I showed him the uncolored entry form and asked him what Garamon was, he said "Christmas tree". I had to go with that:

All of these submissions to the FOE show are great! I would love to go to the show and see all of these in person.

^ that's a one-off test print that ended up being just right, so i sent it off to the gallery. i have two other test prints, but they went into the fail pile. i definitely plan on printing a run if people are interested, though!

It looks like I am not going to be able to head out until around 5 tomorrow.

Scott, those are rad! Top one is wood, right? What about the bottom one?

Thanks, James! yeah, the top one is wood. It's super sloppy and will most likely be best used as firewood. The bottom one is done on a piece of brown grocery bag. It was definitely a fun little project.

I love the trading card, pop-up and the wood coloring entries. Great stuff everyone!
