Man, do I ever love it when you post your new finds, Geekabilly. I always get a happy rush from the spoils of your hunting! Pardon the picture bump, but my post turned the page. Hmm, while I'm at it... The Moog wrote: Great mail day Thanks David You're welcome, Joe! Thank Curtis, too!

It's been a big week for new toys by bansheebot, on Flickr These photos don't do these toys justice at all. Chris did a seriously incredible job on these and I'm happy to have them. They're both my favorite versions of each respective sculpt: Hukkokudo • Ceratosaurus by bansheebot, on Flickr Hukkokudo • Ceratosaurus by bansheebot, on Flickr Hukkokudo • Ceratosaurus, Diatryma by bansheebot, on Flickr And then there's these two, who are a couple of my most favorite recent pick ups: Amapro • Touchuka, Shamogon by bansheebot, on Flickr

^^^ That's MechaniKong, from the 1967 Toho picture King Kong Escapes. Bullmark made the toy in '70. You can check out an interesting article about the movie, as well as the English trailer here.

Doh! Red vinyl is great!

Amazing haul Viva. A vintage lot after my own heart. Aside from the ones already mentioned, I have to throw some love out there for Condorman, Lionmaru, and that sweet glitter Ninja Arashi!! I am really thrilled to see some excellent toys like these make it in to the hands of appreciating fans outside Japan.

Re: The "What you just got in the Mail" Thread
What, no love for the King Joe? That's one tough to find (and very expensive when you do) vinyl. Also, nice Robocon. Keep an eye on the reaction between the clear chest piece and the red vinyl. The room I keep mine in gets a little warm in the summer and I have occassionally noticed some wet residue in that area. It wiped up ok but I keep a watch on it now.

King Kong Escapes was a great movie, It may seem cheesy now, but it scared the crap out of me when I was a kid.
