I love the Planet sets, and have high hopes for the Lotr sets this summer!

Around 2am on New Year’s Day, I came out with the bright idea of doing a 365 days photo project using only bricks from a classic set of LEGO. I think I may regret this decision soon ..

Besides G.I.Joe, my childhood memories are of playing with LEGO. I have quite a collection still. Not as much interested in sets off the shelf though. I'm more into just getting as many random bricks as possible to build with.

Planning on hitting the LEGO store here in town later today for some "Pick-A-Brick" action.

My 3 year old daughter is doing the DUPLO thing as I wait for her desire to join me at the LEGO table. LOL.

I've a friend who was given this by his mom and he doesn't want it... He offered it to me but I feel kinda bad - it's too pricey a gift to accept. Still, I might accept it temporarily just to build it.

Toy Fair! I can't wait for the Monster hunter sets (the vampire hearse for the hearse and swamp monster set for the swamp monster especially!), The Marvel Superheroes sets, whoo!- I gotta see if I can get a pair of the Exclusives- I like the Ironman with the tampo printed head and Bucky- Captain America! And LEGO Magneto! Wolverine is pretty good too, but I hope LEGO makes a Wolverine with his mask on. I'm excited about them, and I haven't even looked the LoTR stuff- that will just be too much for my brain to handle! Oh crap, I forgot! New Boba Fett with printed legs! And another new Mandalorian! To the couple skullbrainers who work @ LEGO- my hats off to you and everyone in the organization!

I just got the Planet sets, and I must say that while very expensive for the number of pieces, they are über-nice. I can see them running out of planets pretty quickly though - but then again I don't know much about the Star Wars universe.

Excited about the LOTR sets too... But in the meantime we dropped by Toys'r'us for the Lego sale last weekend... Fun! Love you Lego!
