Post Moving Muton!
Today I spent the better part of my afternoon helping out my good buddy and OG LASK-man Carl Muton move box after box of toys into a storage space. We made a small dent into what is a massive collection of the world's greatest toys ever made. The boxes were labeled 'spawn', 'simpsons', 'marvel legends' etc. which I assume are code names for Bullmark & Marusan. There were many boxes, but there are many more to go.

Here are a few pictures to better show you my day....

Image
The STINKUBUSS! It only seemed right that moving golden toys from the 60's required a moving vehicle from the 60's as well.

Image
'Spawn" code name for King Ghidrah & 'Star Wars'? Astro-Mu most likely

Image
Muton in front of a wall of KIJOO sporting his new U2 sweatshirt

Image
This box must be full of original fake toys.. those are the ones made with resin.

Image
Muton hugging all of his hard collecting work

It was a fun day. Muton said I looked 'happy'. I was happy. It feels good helping out a good friend. Hopefully he is enjoying himself tonight catching Sinead O'Connor at the West Hollywood Park Band Shell. Tomorrow I am gonna go it alone at tackling the rest of his Kaiju GareRidge. If anyone wants to come smell what 30+ years of collecting gold smells like give me a shout.

HAhahahahahahahahahaah

I JUST saw this!

Seriously - what can I say? Scott is dead on; where it says Spawn, read Vintage Bullmark, where it says Star Wars, read vintage Marusan, and wehere it says Dummy's read KR Urban vinyl at its finest. Yay scuzzrockin!

Scott did look Happy - I was even happier he did this and most of the work. Next to his insane manliness, he made my skinny-yet-flabby frame look like teh desk sitting lump it is fast becoming.

Seriously folks: we had a rad day, and on it goes. I'm moving onto a friends sofa with no toys, two pugs and two storage units to my name. Gonna be weird.

Aww thats awesome of Scott to help you out like that. If I lived on the other coast I would have helped you Carl. Are you moving into new digs after your sofa surf? Setting up again is going to be fun!

Thanks!

I'm hoping to move into new digs. The move was planned to take place a couple of weeks ago. Unfortunately a fraud was commited against the place I was moving to and now its tied up in legal for an indeterminate length of time. If it goes too long I'll find a month to month let - but those are hyper expensive (4.5K pcm for a furnished 1 bedroom at Oakwood or Palazzo???) - but next weekend I'm heading towards a sofa. I'm assuming it will all happen given some patience - and that setting up will indeed be fun - but its a downer right now I have to say.

But Scott has been a ray of light. And Stinkubuss definitely adds to the fun.

And yet you avoid the obvious... Scott's van

I'd let you couch surf here Carl, but I know how you feel about Long Beach
