I would have made it taller and had the companion dragging by the hand, but oh well, it is what it is.. Still a spin on the corporate shame of Disney. (even though Kaws is his own Corp now,  )

Re: KAWS 'Partners' I own quite a few Kaws pieces. Many I haven't bought because I just don't like them. Some because I can't afford them... But this one just really puzzles me. It actually bothers me... I don't get it.
It's some kind of joke, that much I understand. But I don't think it's funny. What is it making fun of? Disney? Kaws himself? Art toys? His most beloved character, Companion?
"Corporate shame of Disney?" What?! Why would Kaws comment on that? For all I know, he loves Disney!
Looks more like Companion is ashamed of Kaws -> Kaws is ashamed of himself? But why? He really seems to be having fun doing what he does... If Brian announced that this is the last toy he will ever produce, then I would get it. A farewell to the toy world... that would make sense... i don't know...
Or is it just narcissistic joke on Kaws collectors? "They probably would buy even me! - Now that would be funny! ...I doubt that Companion would mind...?"
....
Did I just explain to myself, what this was all about...?

Re: KAWS 'Partners' Oh I forget to check my posts for replys. Yes, I was driven over by a drunk driver while riding my bike w a friend who was also hit and killed instantly. I have so much wrong w me and broken that I'm not even sure the extent but I cannot walk and was in a coma for 5 days.
I'll hopefully be walking again in a few months. Doctors are hopeful and positive and tell me how lucky I am to have survived. Sorry for the thread jack
