I'm starting to like these neo gorillas, would look great unboxed next to ju's and other gorilla stuff. I hope you dont mind if i steal the picture to add to my long list of impossible wants!

I don't know about releasing these guys. I totally see the play factor, and I'm all for toys coming out of plastic bags, but these guys look like their made to be shown in the box. They look so perfect as-is, I'd have a hard time setting them free (I especially like the vehicle boxes).

I like the packaging and plan on keeping them in. At least temporarily.

I want to display them along side my Bullmark boxed re-issue MG pieces in a new case.

These boxes are a direct continuance / rip-off / improvement of Bullmark large vinyl packaging. Which is as far as I know the first anyone has done since Bullmark. So the packaging deserves some shine.

As a designer and creative, I feel the story is only half told taking these little guys out.
I'm sure after I get my kicks of them on parade in box, that I will rotate it around.

It's obvious the packaging was worked on as much as the pieces. So I'm paying my respects.

I finally got around to using instagram and like it a lot. I think having a toy Oriented Svpply is also in my near future.
I also would like to see these with some Mecha Gorilla Ju action. My ark kong, both original and toybot bootleg love these guys.
And there is always Zenda Gorilla too... a great Takatoku toy from the Tatsunoko character files.

Don't get me wrong I'm totally in love with the packaging and also have them on display.

I was tempted to keep my Gorillas in the box as well but truth is they really take on a new life once removed... albeit painful exposure is a must with these guys (IMHO).

Now the Gorz... very tempted to keep him boxed... guess I'm a hypocrite

It's not like they're sealed up all tight. Bust them out, if you'd rather have them in box toss the things back in. It's like twisty ties on the feet.

If you don't take them out of the packaging, one can't see or appreciate the total 360 degree design. For example, one has no sense of the Gorz without the helmet or the design from the back.

Just saying...

Besides, in 12-24 months, they'll be worth $50 or so as people focus on the next couple hyped figures

for real? Cool... may people start raining medicom iluilu pieces for $50.

The body splits at the waist. But the legs cavity makes the gnome shift around to much. I stuff in some bubble wrap so he stands better.

I was hoping that the clear top come off too but no, the mask's one piece.

Ahhh...If it did not split at the waist It would also be difficult to fit the foil chest piece in. Thanks!

According to the story/description on the packaging, the robot is actually his invention "The Strategic Weapon of Dr. Gorz".
