 Re: Boss Carrion
everything looks great. TAG and paul have to rolling in the benjamins now
bummer about people driving long distances to the show but not being able to score, but i guess thats the nature of the beast sometimes

 Re: Boss Carrion
Nate and I just got home and are super tired. We know of people who still have a long drive back home so drive safe! Paul brought as much as he could and the demand, even at two per person was high. I think there's two paintings on wood, the Boss wrestling an Uchiman and a seagool painting are left along with two resin paintings which I can't remember and the DX Boss. It was my first TAG show and it was surreal. They were filming for some show and trying to motivate people to cheers and holler who have been waiting in line for 12+ hours was difficult. We were all pooped. Had a lot of fun chit chatting with the usual suspects and meeting new faces! Right now a late dinner for us and off to bed to hibernate all day tomorrow to recover. Also, finally met Rich (LASH) for the first time and that was a treat! Hope to steal him from the East Coast! We got good weather here.

Thanks to all the boardies for hanging out, and BIG SHOUT OUT to stinkupuss for holding down my stuff while i was visiting. Also to everyone at TAG for dealing with me and tracking down all my items before i left for airport. Cant wait to get back to NY, super beat, my feet hurt.

 Re: Boss Carrion
^^^^ Your feet hurt? I just worked 13 hours straight all on my feet. I'm so tired I can't even sleep. One of the best shows I've been to in a long while and I'm not just saying that because it's my job. The puss-that-stinks has an over-stimulated imagination as far as my toy consumption goes. I didn't even score a mock-bat for myself. One of my favorite parts of the day was handing out free stuff to people in line (PK necklaces, PK tee's, doughnuts.)

 Re: Boss Carrion
This show KILLED IT,!many reasons, and not just the amazing ness Paul brought. And it was amazingness.
TAG shows f'ing rock. Space is awesome, vibe is great. LA. Collectors are rad. The tv show things was hilarious...those two presenters were on crack. They were dancing on podiums when I left at midnight. I'm not kidding. The girl, Monica was like an amazon. The dude had great hair. I liked their cluelessness. I told em to watch toy punks.
I didn't do 13 hrs like Connel, Aaron , Sean and Gino did...but I did dress up and did my very best personal shopper bit for a ton of dudes and a coupla ladies. I did indeed mark Scott as sold, and he marked me as sold. We were sellouts kids.
Oh and my feet hurt too. I wore sexy boots not designed for standing lengths of time.
Had a great chat about tits, toys, fuck me shoes, and occasionally mentioned stuff
Big shouts to Scott, Todd, Rick, Connell, Aaron, rich, Jackie, David, Nate, Maddie, Jeff, Gino, Paul, Melissa, bob, Larry, Michael, thanh, Chris, lyndsay, Alan, joe, bonnie, kaoru, jun, coop, Steph, irineo, margo, Michael, mike..... fuckkkkk...too many to mention
U know when people say " it was off the hook"? It really was. KILLA!

 Re: Boss Carrion
Congratulations Paul! Sounds like it was a Grand Slam! You gotta be flying pretty fing high right now after such a great eception! Can't wait for more people to share pics! congrats again! edit- Just finally taking a better look at Gomora's flickr- Damn Paul! The orange/pink Boss with the doll eyes and "Tangerine Peppers" Look like my early choices for favorite Boss, (scratch that, it's the Orange one with the fractured pattern on it... is that all carved out?) "Bogart" Salamander Joe looks great- I've never been able to get into S.J., but this one and the orange one you sold online a month or two back (the one with purple and black highlights) are changing my mind! Vinyl Mockbat!!! Devilman Mockbat!? Holy Shit that looks good! "Juicy Pink" and "Metallic" are also standouts for me! There's about a ton of other amazing stuff I haven't even processed (you are a machine Paul!) , but I want to hit a few points quickly: Unchiman Prototype?! Holy Shit! (pun intended) that looks good! The "Party Gool" mashup works really well! POLLEN KAISER Clay proto!!! Whoo Hoo! I just was going to write that "PK" should make the vinyl jump next, and then I saw the pic! (I'm writing this as I look at the pics for the first time)! Sign me up for one of each one you make. I can't wait for this one! I hope you get it out before December 21st, because if the world ends I want to go out with a vinyl Pollen Kaiser in my collection!

 Re: Boss Carrion
Via VP, Quote: While each collector is bound to have their favorite piece, the life size Boss Carrion certainly drew alot of attention and justly so. Pushing the boundaries of sculpture and large-format toy, the TAG produced fiberglass piece features fully articulated arms and legs -- something I can't recall seeing before. So while this first large boss was displayed standing up, he's equally comfortable in a seated pose. Painted by PK himself, this first show piece is available for $6500. The forthcoming low-run production pieces with factory paint will retail for under $4000. The Boss Carrion is the latest in TAG's ongoing series of large fiberglass figures. Several more are already under production, with the goal of monthly releases.

 Re: Boss Carrion
Completely fucking UNREAL- I expected this show to be amazing, but Paul just went way beyond. Wild applause. Those Devilman Mockbats... SO. FUCKING. AWESOME. And the new sculpts! We have a goddamn exciting year ahead, folks, in terms of PK alone...
