That's what I see as well. More on YJA and Mandarake then I ever see here or on eBay. I know there's always "behind the scenes" sales but how can anyone speculate numbers on something like that?

I hope to win my first Mecha G in the lottery, this one rocks really hard!!

I thought the numbering and differently painted missle tips and nuke symbols were a way to identify flippers. Note what you sold to who. See it flipped, cut them off.

Threads like this don't help cut down on the stupid hype. Not singling out this thread or toy or whatever, just making a general statement that can be applied elsewhere.

It's very easy for flippers (english and foreign) to scan the Japan Toys forum and easily see what is the current hype.

I still think SB should be tiered.

BST is hidden from viewers who don't log in with an account.

You post 10 posts you unlock such and such forum
You post 50 posts you unlock such and such other forum etc
Or maybe its date based.
Or maybe you just gotta create your own private board and do it there.

Anyway if anyone cares to respond, post over in whatever.

So has anyone heard back? I'm thinking I'm going to be unlucky this time. Like a dumb ass I was so psyched for this I sent a drafted email two minutes too early from my itouch unknowingly. The next day when on my regular computer I noticed it had been sent 9:58am (which would have been 11:58 March 3rd in Japan). My itouch was 2 minutes fast! Being an even bigger dumb ass I tried to correct this and send another email with a note, which probably disqualifies me. I swear collecting these toys anymore makes me feel like I have to meet the soup nazi and know the secret handshake all at once.

It can be pretty tough to accurately send an email during a 24-48 hour window. I know the feel bro.

It actually is! You would think something as simple as sending an email would not be hard, but you factor in your excitement, time conversion, trying to decipher the information given along with not every clock being synced up and you can make a mistake. It did seem confusing with the dates given and when to actually send the email.

tell me about it! just realized it's past 2 days from the deadline as we speak. damn!

It seems strange to me that the demand would have been so much higher on this than past releases. I suppose the recent YJA auctions on discussion here have caught the interest of a wider audience maybe; let's hope it is only for love of great sofubi. Fingers still crossed for some SB representation in the lottery.

I really do not want tosee the end of thecurrent lotterysystem. As it stands, yes it is difficult, my oh my, but it is the only fair way for all to have an equal chance. Not to be a pooper, but ithink he is saying he needs to rethink future releases, not this one.
