 Re: Recent Pogue Sale..
I got one of the two toys I bought, still waiting on the second. I got a reply from him a long while ago but a second email sent last week has gone without reply. Since it's Glenn I haven't been worried but starting to get antsy to be honest.

 Re: Recent Pogue Sale..
Hey things happen and I can be patient to wait for a toy no problem, but when there is zero communication a month later then I get a bit bothered.

I can vouche that I've received my purchase from his recent sale... but I'm unsure of his contact info. I'm sure you'll be fine, but I agree, communication is key.

 Re: Recent Pogue Sale..
I sent him a PM at the end of December asking if he had a header for an item I got from him. PM is still sitting in my outbox. Not a deal breaker to me, but I'd love to get the header someday if he has it.

 Re: Recent Pogue Sale..
I have 3 or 4 things I'm waiting on. I PM'd him awhile back and he hasn't logged on since then. I shot him a personal email and he responded right back. He mentioned he was out of town a lot and that he would get to shipping my stuff soon. I said I wasn't checking in on him regarding that and was just making sure everything was OK. So I don't know when he's shipping but I'm not concerned about it right now. But I can totally understand if some of you are. I'll send him an email about this thread.

 Re: Recent Pogue Sale..
So has anyone spoken with Glenn? I sent an email and left messages here and on FB. Also not worried considering who it is but it has really been a while at this point. Hope he is okay.

No matter 'who it is,' that's still a pretty shitty thing to do. It may take me a week or more to ship something (and I'm sure it's even taken longer sometimes), but to flat-out ignore someone who has given you money for an item is at the very least quite disrespectful.
There, I said it.

 Re: Recent Pogue Sale..
Honestly although I am not worried, hopefully justifiably, it certainly isn't making me happy. I actually received my package rather quickly but it was missing the more expensive of the two toys I bought. At that point Glenn told me he would mail out the other toy but there might be a slight delay. Now it has been a few months or more. I don't want to whine or complain but I just hope to at least find out what is up.

 Re: Recent Pogue Sale..
Not tryin to discourage anyone but, one time I bought from Glenn & it took about 5 months for me to get my toy. .....after about the 4th month I sent him an email everyday, another time I bought from him I got it like 3 days later.

There, I said it. And no matter 'who it is,' fellow members should not give you a hard time for being unhappy about there being months time between you paying and receiving your toy. I don't care how many years someone has been a member, or how many people know them - when the seller has the money and the toy, but isn't communicating with the buyer, they are in the wrong. I'm hoping that all is well with Glenn and there is a good explanation for this, but if you're not getting your toy you should certainly be notified & refunded.

 Re: Recent Pogue Sale..
I think from what I've seen so far, people tend to dip in and out of collecting. Their last hurrah for a while is to sell a bunch of toys to make some quick cash and then disappear. Maybe that's what's happened to him? Maybe when he comes round full circle again, as most seem to do, he'll be sending out apologies.
If I knew that I was horrible at sending packages, or was having a busy week, I would at least tell people. Others have done that for me before and I understood.

 Re: Recent Pogue Sale..
It doesn't matter who you are, if you get your payment, then ship the goddamn parcel out within a reasonable amount of time. For me, that's within 48 hours, preferably 24 hours. There's no excuse at all, especially if you're in the US. Everyone here has access to both the USPS website and Paypal. Both of whom offer shipping services. If you have a computer, which you all do and a printer, it takes 30 fucking seconds to do. Excuses are bullshit. Delays are bullshit. No one here is that important. If you were, you wouldn't be posting here. Yeah, I said it! What's most annoying are the sales threads where the seller has to have the payment NOW! Right fucking NOW! NO holds. No "kicking the tires" here. Then it takes them a week or longer to ship the parcel. Again, total BS! If you run into a delay, tell someone or be specific as to how long it's going to take you to ship up front in the sales thread first. Be specific. Use COMMUNICATION. That's C-O-M-M-U-N-I-C-A-T-I-O-N, for the learning impaired. If you get paid, then you ship the package. Simple math. Excuses are lame. People who sell like this are lame. And, Pogue is super lame for this. Oh the hypocrisy... It get's thick here EDIT ::: If this transaction really did happen months ago and Pogue took your money and hasn't shipped your toys, then that's theft and the dude is a thief. A gutter drinking douchebag of a thief. Again, I said it!

 Re: Recent Pogue Sale..
We all know my stance on tardy shippers... There is absolutely no real excuse for not shipping out something you've taken money for. Barring death, a hospital stay from an accident, or being kidnapped you can always find the time to ship something out. I'm always wary of people getting out of this hobby and sell off sales. It's the pessimist in me reading it as: "I'm no longer going to be here, so what do I care if these nerds get mad at me or if I ship at all?"

 Re: Recent Pogue Sale..
Definitely ridiculous at this point, im owed money not a toy. Im sorry, doesn't matter who you are blah blah there is no excuse for no communication after this long unless you are very ill or there is a family emergency, something along those lines. I certainly would not deal with him again, could care less what grails are being sold.

 Re: Recent Pogue Sale..
I swear this happened before. Two years ago? It got so bad that even Brian got involved and that was the only way stuff got shipped to those owed. Anyone else remember this?
